Having worked with the Dalesman Group for many years, when this customer wanted to develop a value sausage seasoning, to run alongside its premium product, it knew where to turn for assistance.
The brief was to create a flavoursome pork and onion sausage seasoning to hit a specified price point.
The Dalesman NPD team set to work creating the recipe before passing it by its internal tasting panel for feedback. Once the panel was happy that the flavour profile met the brief, it was then costed to ensure it hit the required price point. The sample was then sent to the customers for review by its tasting panel, which was subsequently approved, and an order placed.
