The Dalesman Group was honoured to host esteemed members of the National Craft Butchers (NCB) Association for a two-day immersive experience at our facilities on February 19th and 20th, 2024. The visit provided a unique opportunity for the NCB representatives to gain insight into our operations, witness our commitment to quality, and explore the exciting innovations driving our industry forward.

Led by our founder, Ian, the NCB delegation embarked on a comprehensive factory tour, beginning with an in-depth exploration of our production processes for functional blends and flavours. From raw materials to finished products, Ian and our knowledgeable staff showcased the meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into every batch we produce.

A highlight of the tour was the visit to our quality assurance department, where the NCB members witnessed firsthand the rigorous testing protocols we adhere to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products. The demonstration underscored our unwavering commitment to delivering excellence to our customers.

In addition to the factory tour, the NCB group had the opportunity to engage with our New Product Development (NPD) team, discussing upcoming flavours and participating in taste-testing sessions. This interactive experience allowed for valuable exchanges of ideas and insights, reinforcing our dedication to innovation and collaboration within the industry.

 On the second day of their visit, the NCB representatives were treated to tours of two of our esteemed clients, Robertshaw Farm Shop and Bolster Moor Farm Shop. These visits provided a firsthand look at how our mixes and ingredients are utilised in real-world settings, further highlighting the impact of our partnership with local businesses. These farm shops are a continuous source of inspiration for new offerings and flavours!

The factory tour was outstanding with knowledgeable staff (including the MD) taking time out of their busy schedules to show us around the production and facilities of their operation. The visits to both Robertshaw’s and Bolster Moor arm shops were very well received and for me particularly the icing on the cake to the whole event.”
