Gavin is a proud Yorkshire butcher who has been around meat all his life.  Although he was born in Yorkshire, Gav spent most of his early years in Ontario, Canada, where his uncle had two slaughterhouses.  When he was 18, the urge to return to his Yorkshire roots got the better of him and he decided to move back.  On his return, Gav worked as a butcher in Huddersfield market before joining Brosters Farm Shop.  Today Gav is Head Butcher at Albion Farm Shop, Saddleworth, where he takes great pride in offering his customers top quality locally sourced produce including beef, lamb and mutton which have been reared on the farm.

Gav is also co-owner of Yorkshire Lean Meat, where his passion and commitment for offering the very best in locally sourced produce continues with his ambition to be the best online butcher in the UK.
