As the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) has continued to develop across the UK, we are now taking sensible precautions to reduce the risks whilst ensuring there is minimal disruption to our operational performance.
One area identified as a concern is when our drivers are making deliveries and collecting signatures from customers, so that proof is available that customers have accepted the delivery.
We are therefore looking to retain our current proof of delivery (POD) paper capture that is currently in place, however the following will be applied during this period of uncertainty.
In all cases, a name, date and time will be obtained but will be printed on the Proof of Delivery documentation by the driver.
This document will be stored and filed in accordance with our current procedures for reference later from our offices.
